UNA NOCHE Y UN DÍA. CURII
Curii Una Noche y Un Día comes from vineyards between 15 and 60 years old. The vines are planted at 350 meters above sea level on limestone soils and under a distinctly Mediterranean climate. The grape variety is Giró, an Alicante clone of Garnacha, traditionally cultivated through respectful, sustainable farming practices and carefully monitored throughout the entire growing cycle. Harvesting is carried out by hand at optimal ripeness.
In the winery, the grapes for Curii Una Noche y Un Día are partially destemmed and gently foot-trodden, as was done in the past, in open vats. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with native yeasts, with continuous skin contact throughout the process. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is racked without pressing into stainless steel tanks, where it rests on fine lees for six months.
The result is Curii Una Noche y Un Día, a wine whose name refers to the length of time the grape skins macerate with the must. A young red wine that is fresh and vibrant, with a strong Mediterranean identity.
Una Noche y Un Día is made from organically grown Giró (the Alicante clone of Garnacha), sourced from vines aged between 15 and 60 years, cultivated on limestone soils.
